What is Adhearus?

How does Adhearus select which ads get displayed?

| There are a couple of factors that determine which ads get displayed and how often. We use a combination of how much the advertiser is paying for each click on your site (CPC) and how likely a visitor is to click on an ad (CTR). We use these two numbers to determine the amount of revenue each individual ad will generate for your site. We then display the ads that make you more money, more often. Can I display more than one ad on a web page?

| Yes, you can display as many ads on a page as you would like with the exception of pop-ups (only one is allowed). However, we do not suggest that you overload your website with ads as this often results in decreased advertising revenue because it drives visitors away. |

How do I start running ads?

| To start displaying ads you must paste the Adhearus Ad Code into the desired location on your web page. You can retrieve the Ad Code from the Webmasters? area once you log in. It is as easy as copying and pasting the code into your page. |

Which ad types & sizes should I use?

| Unfortunately different ad types and sizes have varying success on different web pages. We recommend that you start by selecting the sizes that you feel fit your site well. However, the only way you can be entirely sure which sizes perform the best is to try them! On average, our most popular and effective ad sizes are text ads and 468x60 banners. |

How long does it take for Adhearus ads to start appearing on my site?

| Once you have created your account you will be provided with a small piece of HTML code to paste onto your web page. Once you have pasted the code on your page, ads will instantly start appearing. You?ll be generating new revenue within minutes. |

Can I filter which ads are displayed on my site?

| Absolutely! While all of the ads on the Adhearus network are carefully reviewed, we do understand that there may be some ads that you would not like to be displayed on your site. We allow you to select the content rating of the ads that will get displayed on your site (example, you could select that no adult ads get displayed). You can also block an individual ad or all ads from an individual advertiser simply by right clicking on the ad when you see it on YOUR web page and selecting the ?block ad? option.

Can I cancel my Adhearus account?

You can cancel your account anytime simply by removing the Adhearus ad code from your web site.

Can I still continue to use another advertising network with Adhearus?

| Yes, you can continue to use any other advertising network in addition to Adhearus. While we are certain that our network will generate substantial revenue for you, we are not the type of company that locks you into anything. In fact, you can even rotate in other networks ads with Adhearus ads using our ?Campaign? feature. |

How do I rotate my own ads in with Adhearus ads?

| You can rotate in your own ads by creating a ?Campaign? in the webmasters? area. It will allow you to upload your own ads and select how often they are displayed. Our system will even keep statistics on your own ads for you, free of charge. |

Do I see the same ads as my users?

| While for the most part you will see the same ads as your users, this is not always the case. Our advanced ad display system bases the ad that is displayed on a number of factors, including how often you visit the site, if you?ve seen the ad before and your geographic location. |

| We provide amazingly detailed statistics on every aspect of your advertising. You?ll be able to see not only how many people have viewed and click on your ads, but well each ad size is doing on each individual page of your site. Are there eligibility criteria for the Adhearus program?

| There are a couple of criteria that you and your site must meet for the Adhearus program. You site must contain actual content and can not simply be ?a page of ads?. Sites also can not contain excessive amounts of pop-ups. While the vast majority of sites are approved, sites with racist or discriminatory content will not be approved. Each site will be reviewed on an individual basis and its approval is at the sole discretion of our review team.

If I am an Adhearus Advertiser, can I join?

How are ads ranked?
|

| Ads are ranked based on two factors, the amount that the advertiser is bidding and the click-through-rate (CTR). We then multiply these two factors together to determine the ranking of each ad. You can improve the ranking of an ad in two ways, either improve the CTR of the ad by changing it OR by increasing your bid. |

Can I sign up for more than one account?

| You can create a separate account for each web site that you operate. However, you can not place ads from two accounts on the same web site. Doing so will result in the suspension of your accounts. |
